Summary

Storefront search results and vehicle pages show their photos much sooner. Search results now appear about 60% faster on a fast connection, and nearly 80% faster on a slow one.

Photos are most of what a shopper waits for on your storefront in the Transaction Engine. As of this week they arrive much sooner, on every device and every connection, and you do not have to do anything to get it.

About 60% faster

On a fast connection, the first screen of search results now appears about 60% faster than it did. A shopper who lands on your inventory sees vehicles, with their photos, almost as soon as the page opens.

Nearly 80% faster on a slow connection

On a slower connection, like a phone with a weak signal in a parking lot, the gain is bigger: the same page appears nearly 80% faster. That is the shopper most likely to give up before the page finishes, and the one who gains the most.

The whole gallery keeps up

On the vehicle page, the gallery and the full-screen photos keep up as a shopper swipes through them. Search results further down the page fill in as the shopper scrolls toward them, so paging back and forth never leaves them looking at empty boxes.

As sharp as before

Every photo looks as sharp as it did, on a phone, a laptop or a large monitor. Your listing photos and the order they appear in stay exactly as you set them.

Where to find it

Open your storefront's search results or any vehicle page. There is nothing to turn on, and nothing to change about how you upload photos: every listing on your storefront loads faster.
