The Protection Menu is a new step in our purchase flow that lets buyers choose from curated coverage bundles like “Essential” or “Premier” before they sign. Whether they’re paying cash or financing, shoppers can review and select coverage with transparent pricing and auto-updated totals—all from the comfort of their phone.

Why It Matters

F&I is a key profit driver for dealerships—but until now, it’s been tough to bring online without clunky handoffs or missed opportunities. The Protection Menu gives dealers a self-serve, margin-preserving way to sell coverage at scale. Shoppers win too—they get clear info and flexible protection options, all within the same seamless checkout experience.

How It Works

Coverage bundles appear right before payment (for cash buyers) or just after a financing offer is accepted (for financing buyers). Selections update the buyer’s price and documents automatically.

What’s Next

We’re already working on expanding bundle logic based on vehicle eligibility. This unlocks richer upsell opportunities and smarter defaults. In time, coverage options (coverage types, term, deductible, etc.) will be fully customizable for buyers.
