What It Is

Our new Lead Capture flow gives buyers the option to “Buy in person at a dealership” during Checkout, while always allowing the buyer to revert to a fully online purchase process later in the process. It’s a lightweight, high-intent step that captures key details—no payment, no hard commitment—just a clean handoff to the dealership for next steps. Lead Capture reinforces our view that modern vehicle commerce isn’t either/or—it’s online, in-store, and everything in between.

Why It Matters

Sometimes, the right move isn’t to push harder for an online sale or constrain choice to only 100% online options—it’s to meet the buyer where they are. Lead Capture lets us do that without sacrificing momentum. It brings dealerships further into the digital flow, drives qualified leads, and keeps the door open for buyers to return to a full online checkout later.

How It Works

Buyers select “Buy in person at a dealership” as a purchase method. We collect their info, allow them to get prequalified online, assign them to a local retailer, and surface the lead in both Admin and Retailer Portals. Dealerships get notified instantly, and the lead is tracked like any other order. At any time, buyers can re-visit the option to complete their purchase fully online, even if they're standing on the showroom floor post-test ride/drive.

What’s Next

This Building Block paves the way for embedded lead forms across product pages, marketplaces, and more—giving us even more surface area to capture high-intent interest wherever it shows up, and track it all the way to purchase.
