Ekho Joins the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC)

Rowan Mockler

Cofounder, CEO

I’m excited to share that Ekho is now an official member of the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) — the powersports industry’s most established national trade association.

The MIC has been representing the full spectrum of the powersports ecosystem since 1914 — from OEMs and distributors to dealers, tech providers, and allied services. Becoming part of this community is an important step forward as we continue building the infrastructure that powers modern vehicle sales.

Why the MIC Matters

The MIC plays a central role in strengthening and shaping the future of motorcycling and powersports in the U.S. — through legislative advocacy, market research, training programs, and convening major industry events like AIMExpo.

As we build tools to help dealers sell vehicles online (and in-store with less friction), being connected to the broader industry conversation — from regulatory shifts to consumer behavior trends — is critical. That’s exactly what MIC enables.

It also provides a platform for us to collaborate more directly with the manufacturers, dealers, lenders, insurers, and retail partners that are core to what we do.

A Shared Goal: Industry Growth

At Ekho, we’re focused on helping dealers streamline their operations, move more inventory, and improve the customer experience — without increasing overhead.

That includes:

  • Providing dealers with plug-and-play online sales channels
  • Automating financing, titling, and registration with lender and DMV integrations
  • Supporting F&I product sales and backend margin retention
  • Providing buyers with a seamless, step-by-step checkout experience they can complete online or in-store

By joining the MIC, we’re aligning with others who care deeply about growing the market — responsibly and sustainably — by supporting the businesses at the heart of it.

Looking Ahead

As a member of the MIC, we’re excited to:

  • Stay actively involved in policy and regulatory discussions that impact the dealer ecosystem
  • Learn from the MIC’s research and insights on shifting market dynamics
  • Connect with other members to find new ways to collaborate and grow the industry together

If you’re a dealer, manufacturer, or partner looking to modernize how vehicles are bought and sold, we’d love to talk. You can:

We’re grateful to the MIC team for the warm welcome, and we’re looking forward to contributing to the important work they do on behalf of the entire industry.
