The above image is a memorial sticker I created to put on my Honda PC800 motorcycle to help remember Christoffer.  Feel free to download either the above .JPG image or the Adobe Acrobat PDF file to print out your own.  I first met Christoffer on June 6, 2001 at Lake George, New York after hearing good things about him from some of our mutual friends and PC800 riding buddies before that.  He immediately accepted my invitation to come to our Ottawa Canada PC800 club gathering in August, 2001.  He had to drive about 8 hours to get here, but impressed me with the amount of effort he put out to join his friends Tim Davies and Francois plus "yet to meet" new friends here in Ottawa.  His infectious laugh stood out and added life and sparkle to our 3 day gathering.  Americans like Christoffer and Tim Davies are true good will ambassadors for their country that create a sincere bond of friendship and respect between Canadians and Americans.  My sincere condolences to his family and close friends in Massachusetts whom I know will really miss such a great person.  I have created this small sticker to help us all remember a great person who was destroyed by the terrorists on Sept. 11/2001. Elton Hammond   Sept. 19/2001.

Select this link to download a printable, sticker-size, Adobe Acrobat Color PDF file of the above .JPG file.  It is sized for an Avery 05544, 4" x 3.3" weatherproof, polyester Laser Printer label.  If you have a color laser printer this should work well.  Did NOT work well on my ink jet printer due to the polyester.  Call me if you want another format for your PC800 or other motorcycle.

FSL, Tim Davies and Christoffer Carstanjen at Canada's Battle of the Windmill site on the St. Lawrence River on August 4/2001.  This site is very symbolic for Canadians and Americans.  It was the site of a fierce battle between 190 Americans/Rebels and 2000 Canadians in Nov. 1838; it is now located on our peaceful and very long undefended border.
