Wedding was conducted by Doctor Herbert H. Janson in Hillside Baptist Church, North Vancouver, B.C.
Leonard and Lois first met at her Father's place in North Vancouver via Leonard's sister Mabel who was a friend of Mrs. Ivy Janson.
They honeymooned in Vancouver, Washington for a week. The bride and groom traveled on their honeymoon in Leonard's 1937 Chevy Coupe. A return trip stop in Chilliwack to visit Mabel, Phil, Karen and Danny led to a day trip picnic on the top of Mount Baker. Lois remembers Mabel Goshulak (Leonard's sister) tying some bells to the underside of their guest bed during their overnight stay at the Goshulak household!! :-) You rascal Aunt Mabel!!
