SMS Instructor View

The Instructor View shown here allows the user to:

• Create a new Instructor or edit/delete an existing one.

• Specify when an instructor is or is not available.

• Keep notes in the Misc. field. (I keep a date log of phone calls for example.)

• Check what courses the instructor is currently scheduled for.

• Specify what an instructor is qualified to teach.

• Send e-mail to an instructor

• Print an envelope for an instructor.

"Great features aplenty in this efficient form!:

• "Schedule" tab allows you to quickly see all upcoming classes for this instructor.

• "Availability" tab allows the administrator to specify what instructors are allowed to teach and thus never assign a wrong instructor to a class.

• The "Qualifications" tab allows you to specify what courses this instructor is qualified to teach so that schedulers who may not know all instructors can't assign the wrong person to teach a class.

• "Drag Zone" allows you to drag and drop an instructor on to a calendar and print their personal schedule for printing or faxing in a blink!"
