DIMENSIONING WITH AUTOCAD 2000

"Text" tab allows the user to manage dimensioning text details.

Of special note:  

• "Text height" setting will only work if the "Text Style" showing in the box has a height setting of 0!  NOTE: the button to the right of the Text style box, allowing direct access to the Text Style Editor.

• Use a text style called DIMS for all dimensioning with a height of 0, so that the "Text height" setting can manage your dimension text heights.

•  "Text Color" can be set explicitly or allowed to follow the "block" and thus the layer.

• The image tile provides instant viewing of your changes.

• µThe red star marks the settings that are best adjusted with the DIMSCALE variable in the "Fit" tab.
