DIMENSIONING WITH AUTOCAD 2000

Dimension tool bar provides all tools for technical dimensioning.

New features of note, not found in the previous release:

• Quick Dimension

• Quick Leader

• Display of the current dimension style in a drop down list.

"DDIM" icon allows user to create, revise or set the current dimension style as shown below.

Selecting the "DDIM" icon activates the new R2000 Dimension Style manager.

Of special note:  

• "Styles" list contains all the Dimension styles and family members that exist in this drawing.

• "List" box allows the user to see only those in use or all that exist.

• "New" button allows the creation of a new Dimension style from the current one.

• "Modify" button allows the editing of the dimension variables for the current style.

• "Compare" button allows the user to see differences between any two dimension styles in this drawing.

• "Set Current" button allows the user to switch to a new current dimension style.
