Class of Distinction!

A DREAM CLASS

EKHO's Class 1150 Really Gets it!

Every once in a lifetime, a keen motivated instructor has a dream class to teach.  In March 2004 I was fortunate to have such a great class come together for AutoCAD Level 2. It stood out above all others in my 16 years of AutoCAD training.  It was such a fun week with this keen crew that it went by in an instant for me.  Some people just get it right away when you teach them, and this class did, because they have all been working hard with AutoCAD in their daily business lives.

A CLASS WITH PERSONALITY

Just like companies form a corporate personality, all of our classes develop a unique personality based on the collective interactions of all the students' personalities or motivations and the instructor. This class had personality PLUS! All were highly motivated enough to pay their own tuition and take time off work that also cost them a lot of lost income, knowing it will come back very quickly and many times over with productivity gains.  This high level of motivation puts an exciting energy level into the course and provides a very constructive learning environment.

STOPPING TO SHARPEN THE SAW!

The interest level and quality of the questions showed that the whole class had a full appreciation of what they want to do with AutoCAD to make substantial productivity gains.  I have often felt that I have been ahead of my time with many colleagues and past students, but this class was eagerly waiting to discover a better and faster way to do their work and were just bursting to receive each and every new productivity enhancing tip that is a standard part of all of EKHO's classes.  Thank you Class 1150 for such a great experience!  You all really do understand about "stopping to sharpen the saw"!!  I wish all Canadians fully understood how very crucial this has become in our highly competitive Internet based world where a lot of design can be done as easily in India as here in Ottawa.

GOOD LUCK!

Good Luck to each one of you in all your future career endeavors and business ventures!! Remember time must be used wisely and good skills through good training are a big part of mastering time use.  Feel free to use my quotes here and the link to this page for your own career and business marketing efforts in the future.

Motivational Quotes we all need to remember for a lifetime!

Saralee Bullock is an award winning home designer who decided she wanted to update, upgrade and refresh her AutoCAD skills before heading off to a new career enhancing job where AutoCAD will be used in her daily duties.  Saralee found many of the topics covered were of tremendous interest for saving time like the AutoCAD attribute extraction wizard for doing her future window and door schedules.  Saralee's dedicated commitment to improving all of her career skills is going to make her an exceptional productivity asset to anyone who employs her services.

Jim Harper owns his own design and consulting firm in the security business.  Jim's favorite saying (which thrills us) during his 5 days with us in AutoCAD Level 2 "You just paid for my course with that tip!"  Jim has a real drive to learn and apply as much as possible to work more efficiently with AutoCAD and thus serve his clients better.  Jim's quality questions showed how he had been making a major effort with AutoCAD's advanced features and loved to hear from us on how to refine his skills.

Dan Martelock is a keen young designer who works at Southam Design and was bursting with creative ideas on how he would apply each new lesson taught in our AutoCAD Level 2 course.  We know because we watched him play immediately with new ideas as the class progressed. He appreciated the corrective training from his "erroneous" college CAD classes.  Dan took advantage of our free help after the course to remove a serious "road block" on a real project that had to be done quickly in his first day back at the office.

Rachelle Nadon is one of those shy quiet people that everyone is likely to underestimate at first, but watch out, she is a "sleeper" that will quietly "drive around you" on her way to the top when you slow down!  Rachelle is a highly motivated student who has gone to great lengths to take our courses by paying her own tuition, traveling a great distance, taking time off work and studying to write her upcoming formal AutoCAD Certification Exam at EKHO.  Rachelle learns exceptionally fast and has a real thirst for more knowledge and skills that will take her far in all her future career endeavors.  Employers who can't keep Rachelle challenged and busy with AutoCAD will have to watch her tail lights in the distant sunset!

Rachelle came in on April 24/2004 to complete her AutoCAD Certification exam successfully!  Congratulations Rachelle!  Well done and well deserved!

Penny Southam is the "ball of fire" who owns the award winning firm, Southam Design,  specialists in exceptional interior design work for a variety of clients.  Penny's favorite expression during EKHO's Level 2 AutoCAD course was "I just had an epiphany" when referring to how she would fix the poor methods her former college-trained graduates had been using to design the slow, hard way for many of her previous projects.  Penny attended EKHO's 5 day course in spite of a demanding work load that would overwhelm us mere mortals, knowing that the course would pay off many times over upon her return to work.  Most good instructors will kill for a class full of super motivated students like Penny and the others in this March 2004 class of winners.  Click on the link below to see award winning Southam Design's award winning and most interesting professional flash-based web site.
